Created by perfumer Veronique Nyberg, the mysteriously-named scent is filled with notes that are complex and alluring. If you’re in the mood for a new “date night” fragrance — GUESS Seductive is it!
On Paper:
“The scent teases the senses, captivates attention and leaves a lingering sesation of addiction — a fatal floral attraction. Bold top notes of zesty, dazzling bergamot, vibrant blackcurrant and crispy pear evoke mouthwatering, mesmerizing desire. At the heart of the fragrance are feminine facets of orange flower, exotic touches of jasmine and the noble allure of precious Florentine orrice, a legendary note harvested in Florence and used in perfumery for centuries to seduce the senses. At the base is a voluptuous trail of warm vanilla and spicy olibanum, finished with an intensely distinguished, musky essence of cashmere wood.”
On Person:
While we’re not sure what half of those notes are (olibanum? cashmere wood?), the result is a decidedly pleasant fragrance. And we love the little heart charm hanging from the bottle. GUESS Seductive is a deeper, heavier scent than many typical “floral” fragrances, with much more of a musky feel to it, making it perfect for an intimate evening that will keep your partner guessing why he’s so drawn to you. Just one small spritz of the Eau de Toilette will last from your appetizers to aperitifs. Cheers to that!
