Tarte Jewelry Box

I had mentioned this gorgeous box of delights last week, after getting a sneak peek of holiday offerings from a variety of companies. This has to be one of the highlights (if not the highlight) of all of the products I have gotten to see so far.

This Jewelry Box from Tarte offers up an impressive amount of products for a really reasonable price. For $52, you'll get:

16 all new and limited edition shimmer eyeshadows
16 all new and limited edition matte eyeshadows
    Park Ave Princess Bronzer
    A soft pink highlighting powder
    8 New lip glosses
    5 New Liners
    A wearable necklace (!)

Here is the great news. These shadows seem to be Tarte's regular quality, creamy eyeshadow. The liners are long-wearing. The lip glosses are smooth and wear for a decent amount of time. The bad news is that I'm not sure why the normal gal would need to buy anything else after getting this treasure. (However, I am sure by tomorrow I will come up with a good reason to buy more!)

Take a look inside the Jewelry Box:

The chain on the front comes off and is a wearable necklace.

The top level of colors are the 16 limited edition shimmer shadows. These shadows are sheer and very natural. All of the colors are easy for almost everyone to wear.

The Second layer is 16 limited edition matte shadows.

The third layer is the Highlighter, Bronzer, and eight lip colors.

Eight Glosses. The only downside is that you can't take them with you.

Swatched in the same order they appear in the palette.

Five Liners, including a matte black and a black with a little sheen

Black Sheen, Antique Olive, Plum, Golden Bronze, Matte Black Liners
(named by me for this review.)

Of course because this is Tarte, it is cruelty-free, paraben-free, synthetic color- and dye-free and contains all of the skinvigorating ingredients you know and love. This gem hits the shelves of Sephora this week. If you pick one up as a gift, it's going to be hard to give away. Don't say I didn't warn you!

I bought this. Tarte would never test on animals.
