Lipstick Quest '10: Mineral Essence Lipstick

I have a lip gloss addiction. It is perfectly normal for me to carry around about fifteen lip glosses at any one time. Who needs 15 glosses with them at all times? So in the new year, I am going to branch out and delve back into a previously left behind obsession, lip stick. My first foray into slightly more substance for the lips? Mineral Essence Raspberry Truffle.

Mineral Essence Raspberry Truffle is an organic lipstick that does not contain parabens or preservatives. While available in several different shades, Raspberry Truffle is a copper/burgundy color. I really like this color because it is girly pink without being so Legally Blonde pink. The feel of this lipstick is very creamy, no doubt because the main ingredient is nourishing jojoba. It envelops the lips and coats them in glorious, hydrating color. The color wears for a decent of time and when the creamy consistency is gone, it leaves behind a matte sheen that hints at it's former color. While I do like it, my quest continues. What do you think?

Mineral Essence is available at Sears Beyond Beauty, Beauty 360 and online at MineralEssence.com. The lipstick retails for $16.

This lipstick was sent to me for the purposes of review.
