Dining room musings

I have been plotting to change out the hardware on the dining room buffet (Old photo above) loving the idea of round pulls in silver similar to the below, are you thinking that this would be awesome too??? I have not found the silver pulls yet (let me know if you have seen them anywhere).
PS: Did I tell you that my Mr is awesome? His abilities extend far beyond managing expensive construction projects and looking good in Lycra, he installed a new light for the "Mrs" in our dining room, probably whilst I was dreaming about renovating watching something amusing like "Top design" or "The Block" (Before Pic below).
And this is the light he installed (I will be sure to post photos once I have finished ceiling paint).

I found this at my local thrift store for $4 - beautiful blue milk glass now sitting pretty on the dinging room buffet. I have been busy the last few days finishing off the study - happy to say it is now almost competed and I will take some photos to share.

I found this at my local thrift store for $4 - beautiful blue milk glass now sitting pretty on the dinging room buffet. I have been busy the last few days finishing off the study - happy to say it is now almost competed and I will take some photos to share.

Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?

I found this top to a clock whilst thrifting recently  for $2, the sales person asked what I would do with it - I was not quite sure at the time. Once I got it home I decided to pair it with a blue and white plate (thanks mum) and a stack crumb of choc chip cookies..

Shopping the home

Is there anything better than shopping the home? It is a little silly to have so many items in the home to actually enable you to go shopping? but alas - enough with my junk....It is getting colder here in Australia - I have added a bit of purple to the master bed.
