It contains two of my favorite ingredients in skin care, DMAE and Alpha Lipoic Acid (the third is Vitamin C Ester). My skin just reacts to these ingredients, in ways that sometimes surprise me. My skin is taut, glowing and generally amazing when I use products with these ingredients (that are properly formulated, of course).
Scientifically speaking, Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a super antioxidant that rights the wrongs you do to your skin. It helps fight nasty free radicals, refine your skin tone and fix minor skin imperfections.
DMAE makes your skin appear more taut, hugging the facial contours, like cheekbones and jaw lines. It also can help prevent and reduce age spots, fine lines and puffiness.
Perricone AFFA also includes Glycolic acid, which is known for decreasing fine lines, hyper-pigmentation and scars and helps sun-damaged, dry or oily skin.
