As I am growing my hair, I am constantly looking for something new to do with it. The bangs are making me insane and I am running out of ideas, so if you have any, please give them to me. In the meantime, I got a flat iron in an attempt to do something new with my slightly longer locks. I turned to Erin, a friend of mine, who knows her way around a flat iron, to inspire me.
I should say I am slightly flat iron challenged. I never know what temperature to use or how to do a really good job. But now I am in luck. The flat iron I have is apparently the Lexus of flat irons. Erin has long, brown wavy hair that she flat irons daily. What did she think? "I was surprised it did such a better job than the flat iron I have been using. It made my hair straighter than my usual iron does and my hair feels incredible. It's silky and smooth today. Normally, it feels more coarse and dry - like it's straight, but damaged. I am really impressed. I didn't expect a more expensive flat iron to make that much of a difference, but it definitely did."
Now if only Erin can give me some ideas on how to style my hair while it grows, I will be a happier girl. It turns out having really short hair for my entire adult life has left me with the hairstyling skills of a 5th grader. It's seriously a problem and I need ideas!
