Tokidoki Eyeliners Hit (My) Sephora + Swatches!

According to Sephora, Tokidoki is a place where mischief abounds in the magical world of tokidoki, where one glance is never enough. Creator and Italian artist Simone Legno brings his cult-favorite designs and colorful interpretation of life to a new makeup and accessories line that exposes the criminally cute and irresistibly edgy sides of beauty.

I went into Sephora to check out their Perfetto Eyeliners - pen-style liners in colors beyond black and dark brown. Paula at Older Girl Beauty and I had been searching high and low looking for liquid pen-style liners that came in different colors (Paula was technically the one doing the searching, as I was providing Twitter support). Turns out, no one makes them. Sure, an old LORAC one (with the pen tip that hurts) maybe came in Navy and Forest, but we couldn't find any colors.

Then Paula discovered the Perfetto Pen Liners for Tokidoki. Except they weren't ready to actually hit the sales floor at either of our Sephoras. (NYC readers feel free to yawn.) After calling and checking in with my manager pal all the time (sorry 'bout that) they were out and available for sale.

What makes these liners a must have are the colors. And the fact that you can use them on your eyes or on your skin anywhere to create a faux tattoo. Speaking of which, if you are going the faux-tat route, the white in this collection is the perfect tattoo white. There isn't a shimmer and it lets a touch of your skin tone through. They also appear to wear really well, having not yet budged from when I arm-swatched them more than 12 hours ago. Plus, they're waterproof.

    Here are the colors:

    1. Rodine Love
    2. Sabochan
    3. Mostro
    4. SANDy
    5. Ciao Ciao
    6. Arelecchino
    7. Carina
    8. Donutella

These are beautiful colors but they do have a downside. The pen tip is hard and not like a brush. So if you don't apply them with the pen in the right position, they hurt. Hmmph. Thoughts? Love 'em? Will you haul this line or is it too angry Hello Kitty looking for you? Tell me in the comments!
