Three Custom Color Caramel Rose Lip and Cheek Stain

In case you missed it, cheeks were all of the rage at Fashion Week. Natural cheeks, defined cheeks, cheeks with lots of color; cheeks were the focal point. To celebrate that look off of the catwalk, Chad Hayduk, Co-Founder of Three Custom Color Specialists, went from the runway into the lab to create the perfect natural flush multitasking color.

His creation is Caramel Rose, a sienna colored cream cheek and lip color that can be used in a multitude of ways. First, Caramel Rose makes for a natural, pretty, lip color, ala the models in outdoor fashion shoots that take place on farms. You know the ones I mean. The women look just slightly flushed, as if they are dripping with the anticipation of whatever hot/haute/farm/fashion thing is going to happen next.

If I had a lot of time, a farm and it wasn't raining, I would try to recreate that look for you. I'll spare you and just give you this.

You can also use this color in a way I wouldn't think of. I consider myself to be a decent makeup artist (on myself, mind you) and I also consider myself to be creative. However, for whatever odd reason, it hasn't dawned on me to use a reddish cream blush as a contour color. (My go to contour color is a matte bronzer that lives on Park Ave.) However, this notion has me intrigued. It definitely is an easy way to embrace the look that was all over the runway and its soft color defines the cheeks and looks beautiful. The color itself applies very sheer and is creamy, which allows for the perfect amount of layering and blending.

Caramel Rose Lip and Cheek Stain is available from Three Custom Color Specialists for $22.50. Are you going to embrace the strong cheek trend or let this one pass? Tell me in the comments!
