Alima Pure Nourishing Lipbalm

Assuming warmer weather  is going to stick around (am I the only one obsessed with the weather changes?), my purse is going to become filled with portable sunscreens and lip balms. One lip balm to be on the look out for is the newly reformulated Nourishing Lipbalm from Alima Pure.

It is rich in antioxidants like Pomegranate Seed and White Tea extracts, with a minty touch to freshen breath. It's organic and cruelty-free. It doesn't get any better than that! Well, technically, it could get better. If it had an SPF, it would be perfect. But it's pretty darn close!

It will be available in several different colors. I got a chance to check out Fig, Holly Berry, Natural and Rhubarb. Each of the colors feel incredibly soft on the lips with a slight touch of mint. As with all balms, the softness and hydration lasts longer than the color. The Natural color, which is clear, is perfect for applying before bed to ensure that you wake up with a perfect pucker in the morning!

Fig is a beautiful my lip color but slightly darker, as if I have either been eating found berries or spent the day at the beach. It has a lovely shimmer and is a great way to wear a darker lip without looking like you are trying too hard.

Holly Berry is a beautiful medium sheer pink that looks very natural, but slightly pinker.

Natural just gives a beautiful shine to your lips. Not shown- it's clear. This is perfect for putting on top of sticky glosses to salvage them when you love the color and hate the texture.

Rhubarb is slightly more opaque and more of a true pink.

These are a bargain and will be available at Alima Pure for $7 each, beginning this month.
