Really expensive eye creams make me nervous. Maybe it's because I read so much Paula Begoun growing up that I question if I even need an eye cream. Or maybe it's because I don't want to fall in love with something I can't afford to keep using. Or maybe it's because I'm afraid I'll be seduced by the slick package and literature.
I haven't tried the original Premiere Cru. I know its reputation precedes it. People swear by its resveratrol and grape-seed polyphenols. And since I've been using the eye cream version, I may need to jump in, face first.
The Premiere Cru Eye Cream has immediate and long lasting effects. Immediately, under-eye darkness is diminished by silvery, coppery and iridescent pearlizers. The under-eye area looks hydrated for hours after application, giving a more youthful appearance. Over time, wrinkles are improved, elasticity is (partially) restored, dark circles and puffiness are diminished and dark spots are replaced with an overall radiance. It sounds too good to be true, right?
For once, it actually isn't. While my eyes are not the eyes I had as a teenager, they are pretty good for almost 40. I've been getting a lot of comments on my blog recently that I keep getting younger looking and I honestly think Premiere Cru might be one of the reasons. (Longer hair helps, too, I think.)
While it will set you back 95 samolians, it will last you at least 3 months, which is not too tough to swallow. If you are looking to improve your under-eye area, this is something you need to consider.
