Wen will replenish, nourish and hydrate your skin with beneficial ingredients such as Goji Berry Fruit Extract, Matrixyl 3000 (Peptides), vitamins, nutrients and marine collagen, which also works as an advanced anti-aging treatment - helping to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Because this is a Wen product, you use it slightly differently than you would normally use a body wash. You start by exfoliating your body with a loofah or bath sponge. Then you add the Cleansing Cream. This won't foam or bubble, it just stays in place on your skin like a hydrating treatment. Next, you move on to cleansing your hair, shaving, singing, coming up with grand schemes involving your brilliance, whatever. Then at the end of your shower, completely rinse your body. The longer you can leave the cleansing cream on, the softer your skin will be!
I like to follow up with the Sweet Almond Mint Nourishing Body Lotion, which leaves my legs soft and smooth for at least eighteen hours. It sinks right into the skin, which I especially appreciate as the temperatures are heating up! I tend to have patches of very dry skin (on my thighs and hands) and use the Wen Sweet Almond Mint Oil to really pay special attention to those bits. The best part? Whatever is left over on my hands goes straight into my hair, leaving it shiny and healthy looking.
While I can't justify the cost of the products for just this one reason, I adore the scent of the Sweet Almond Mint Body Cleansing Cream. As soon as I apply it to my skin, the bathroom smells minty fresh and stays that way through the entire shower. The smell doesn't fade like it does with every other body cleanser. It's a great way to wake up!
